I READ the article about the number of disabled people who have suffered cuts to their benefits – Thousands lose out in claims shake-up (Keighley News, May 31) – with dismay.
How can this happen in a civilised society?
I do have a complaint with the article.
At one point it refers to benefits as “handouts”. Benefits aren’t handouts. Can you be more careful and accurate in your use of language in future, please?
