THE Cats Protection education team is recruiting a volunteer education speaker in Bradford district to help raise the profile of the charity and promote feline welfare.

Volunteer education speakers have the important role of raising awareness of Cats Protection.

They deliver pre-prepared talks, help spread messages around feline welfare and act as the voice of cats in their local communities.

The talks are given to both adults and children in a variety of settings. Interacting with children is especially important, as they are the cat owners of the future and by building their understanding and knowledge we can make the world a better place for cats.

We are looking for a volunteer with good communication skills, confidence in public speaking and of course a love of cats!

The education team provides training and resources to support you in your role.

Our volunteers enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience to help people learn more about cats and how to care for them. Last year our volunteer education speakers delivered talks to over 31,000 people and we are keen to build on this.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer education speaker for Cats Protection in Bradford, please call me on 07581 059482 or email kirsty-lou.watson@cats.org.uk for more details.

Cats are at the centre of everything we do and our objectives are homing, neutering and educating people about cats and their care. We help thousands of cats across the UK each year thanks to our network of dedicated volunteers, staff and supporters.

As well as finding new homes for unwanted and abandoned cats, the charity also offers cat care advice to the public and can help towards the cost of neutering. Visit cats.org.uk.
