THE Keighley draft development framework document published recently on the internet by Bradford Council proposes all kinds of changes to Keighley, but is not available in paper form at the Bradford Council premises in the town.
It is a consultation document which is pretty indigestible on the internet.
Fortunately, a copy is available to read in the foyer of Keighley Town Council’s civic centre.
Many people who will be affected by the proposals and would probably like to comment on them are not aware of the plans, and if they were, would find it difficult to respond.
This is a draft, but if it becomes policy it will be more difficult to alter later when funds become available.
