THIS 1950s Cullingworth school photograph might stir a few memories.
The picture is among my wife Christine's family photos.
Remarkably, she remembers the names of everyone on it, so I thought it worth submitting.
The pupils are as follows: back, Roger Kemp, Michael Jowett, Stuart Preston, Keith Hastings and Colin Sullivan; middle, Helena Kemp, Christine Drake, Barbara Skwarek, Susan Wadsworth, Linda Blacka, Verlie Wood, Yvonne, Janet Hustler and Molly Schofield; and front, Janet Hollingsworth, Kathleen Bentley, Shirley Powis, Pamela Longbottom, Jeanette Newman, Linda Brooksbank, Andrew Whitwam, Peter Hill, Geoffrey Priestley and Keith Bower.
The teacher is Mr John Stanley Bell, who was Cullingworth Primary School headmaster, and whom I believe became Keighley’s youngest mayor in the 1960s.
