FOR well over a decade, I have been campaigning for a 20mph speed limit on the road that passes Oldfield Primary School.
On Friday (January 5), the signage was eventually erected and we now have the speed limit officially in place.
This is excellent news for the children who attend the school, everybody else associated with the school and all the people who live on Oldfield Lane.
Many thanks to all the people who have been involved in this process and helped eventually get the speed limit in place.
