DEMENTIA Friendly Keighley has just received a fresh accolade, this time from the Big Issue magazine – to the charity's support centre co-ordinator, Helen Charters, for her work welcoming all at the Airedale Shopping Centre premises.
I quote the nomination: "Dementia affects many people and does not discriminate. Helen is a brilliant listener and supporter; she has time for everyone".
Congratulations Dementia Friendly Keighley and Helen, you richly deserve the Changemakers recognition.
