East Riddlesden Hall offers visitors a taste of a typical 17th century West Yorkshire manor house.

Going into the hall feels like walking through someone’s home – it has a cosy, lived-in feeling, and creates a relaxing atmosphere where visitors can feel at ease examining the exquisite embroideries and blackwork, oak furniture and pewter. The hall is valued for its sense of peace and tranquillity that is experienced as soon as you turn off the busy Bradford Road, through the gate into the grounds. It is also a place where everyone, from families to lone adventurers, can find something to do!

View our ‘In Residence’ exhibition of contemporary and innovative artwork by a group of textile artists, flaX. Their work illustrates the world around us, past and present, as well as nature’s creation and man’s impact upon it.

This fascinating exhibition will see pieces of work on display throughout the whole property until Saturday (normal admission prices apply).
