Keighley man Alan Troake is playing a principal role in a new production of the musical Oliver!.
He is among members of Bradford’s Community Arts Academy, who are presenting the popular show at Bradford Playhouse.
Alan will play Mr Brownlow, the gentleman who adopts orphan boy Oliver after he runs away from the workhouse.
Mr Brownlow finally rescues the youngster after his adventures with a gang of pick-pocketing street urchins.
