Three Keighley artists have assembled with a Saltaire colleague for an exhibition in the Yorkshire Dales.

The quartet are displaying their work in Richmond under the title of Assemblages Experienced And Imagined.

Daniel Shiel, Lis Holt and Dianne Cross, all from Riddlesden, are exhibiting with Dave Starley from Saltaire.

The artists, who promise a diverse array of work, will be on hand during the exhibition to demonstrate and talk about their work.

Former Leeds College of Art lecturer Dianne presents hand-built ceramics, which demonstrate diverse influences, from African adobe architecture to indigo blue work.

Dianne focuses her huge experience on creating striking forms.

Award-winning ceramicist Lis’s hand-built works reflect ancient natural forms in contemporary shapes.

Daniel, a finalist in Best Shots, is returning to Richmond with his photographic compositions.

He combines individual elements from a number of photographic images and re-displays them in new ways on wall-mounted panels.

The two compositions displayed during Daniel’s previous visit to the Station attracted much attention.

Guardian-acclaimed oil painter Dave is exhibiting his distinctive, heavily textured canvases, including the new Tree Portraits series.

Assemblages Experienced And Imagined is at the Station – a restored Victorian railway station – until March 21. Visit richmondstation.com.
