An Evening of Burlesque has thrilled audiences across Europe, from Milan to Minsk, Leipzig to Verona.

And the show will arrive in Bradford this spring, giving local audiences the chance to experience “Britain’s biggest burlesque extravaganza”.

Direct from London’s West End, the show features the cream of the West End burlesque scene, and sparkles with couture costumes recalling the golden era of burlesque.

It promises to combine sultry vocals, thrilling choreography, mischief, magic, frivolity and fun. The show features corsets, killer heels and stockings a-plenty – and that’s just the theatregoers!

Audiences are encouraged to dress up, with a prize for the best burlesque-inspired outfit.

“It’s all tease, no sleaze,” says producer Michael Taylor. “The show combines musical and theatrical parody, cutting-edge variety, comedy and dance with the art of striptease.

“As a spectacle, it sparkles from its elaborately-decorated headdresses to its immaculately varnished toes.”

Audiences are predominantly female, and theatregoers revel in dressing up for the occasion.

An Evening Of Burlesque plays St George’s Hall on March 22 at 8pm. It is for over-18s only. Visit bradfordtheatres.co.uk or call 01274 432000 for further information.
