Acrobatics, dance, music and juggling will be among the entertainment on show under a traditional Big Top when a circus visits Silsden next month.

Circus Starr will come to the town as part of its spring tour on April 30.

Performances will take place at 4.45pm and 7pm at the car boot sale site at Low Woodside Farm.

Audiences will be able to enjoy more hilarious antics from Nicolino the clown as well as Chinese pole and aerial strap performances by the Serik brothers. Local businesses are invited to buy tickets as part of Circus Starr’s own charitable programme.

These tickets will then be donated to a range of local children’s services, schools and community groups.

A circus spokesman said: “The children we invite to our shows face many challenges. For all of them, life is a struggle and few ever have the chance to experience a live show such as ours.” Call 01260 288690 to donate tickets, or go to circus-starr.org.uk for further information.
