Henry Blofeld and Peter Baxter are taking audiences on a trip down memory lane, delivering fascinating untold stories from the Test Match Special commentary box.

Their show, coming to Bradford, includes tales from across the world, behind-the-scenes adventures about Test Match Special characters and extraordinary escapades of players on and off the pitch.

The pair will be delivering ‘direct from the booth’ insights on The Ashes plus the latest on the “resulting and continuing turmoil in English cricket”.

Henry Blofeld is one of Britain’s most loved broadcasters and a bastion of the cricketing community, as notorious for his hilarious observations as for his astute cricket commentary.

Peter Baxter was the brain behind Test Match Special for more than 34 years; the man tasked with the “unenviable position of corralling Henry and his cohorts around the world”.

Together they promise a hilariously entertaining show for both cricket and non-cricket lovers.

Blofeld and Baxter are at St George’s Hall on May 15.

Halfway to Paradise portrays the story of rock ‘n’ roller Billy Fury, Britain’s answer to Elvis Presley, through his songs at St George’s Hall, on April 11.
