A leading member of 70s hitmakers the Bay City Rollers will perform in Keighley.
Eric Faulkner will bring his acoustic act to the Octagon, Bradford Road, Sandbeds, on August 1.
Eric was a driving force behind the Bay City Rollers, one of the biggest bands of the 1970s, writing more than half their songs.
The multi instrumentalist’s number one singles included Bye Bye Baby, Shang-A-Lang and Give A Little Love.
It was Eric’s idea to create the iconic tartan image adopted by legions of fans worldwide, mostly female.
Octagon owner John Pennington said it was still business as usual for Eric many gigs across the UK.
John said: “His musical creativity undaunted, Eric, loves performing to an audience and is in much demand at arts centres, folk clubs and festivals.
“Firmly established in the acoustic/Celtic scene he delights with fiddle, guitars, mandolin even accordion.
“The man has huge stage presence, will happily play his past and present music telling tales of Summer Love Sensation and band antics which perhaps he shouldn’t.
“Relive the halcyon days, meet and appreciate a true pop legend, see Eric Faulkner at the Octagon.”
