THE AIRE Do returns for two days of eclectic musical mayhem in the historic surroundings of Cliffe Castle Park.

Organisers hope to build on the success of previous years’ acts and claim to offer a ‘boutique’ experience this year on August 2 and 3.

The Saturday will see the likes of The Freestylers, Goldie Lookin’ Chain and K-Klass Live on the banks on stage.

Organisers will also showcase a wealth of local and regional bands over both days.

Gates open at 11am on the Saturday and tickets cost £3 in advance or £5 on the day.

Festival-goers can sample the best in local food, ale and more from the stalls and licensed bar on site. There will also be fairground rides.

The Sunday line-up includes The Dirty Gentlemen, New2, Slyde and Alley Gator, and there is free entry.

There will be a family fair and the chance to discover new talent at the fringe event, where local bands and buskers will play in and around the site.

The Aire Do, run in association with Keighley Town Council, relies on a team of volunteers each year, and aims to bring the community together to enjoy and celebrate regional and national talent.

Festival organiser Nick Chambers said this year’s Aire Do would be the best ever.

He said: “It is an established festival date for the Aire Valley and the whole region.

“Its reputation is set after we have had acts such as Jake Bugg, Rudimental right through to Black Lace.

“This year is set to be special and we look forward to seeing everyone there.”

The Saturday line-up will include the John Langan Band, Racing Glaciers and Keighley’s The Ramblers.

Also playing during the weekend will be Falling for Anything, Oliver Pinder, The Tall Trees, Down Reno, Stella Converters and Backstab Burial

Tickets are available from Keighley Civic Centre in North Street, or Jumbo Records in Leeds.
