A charity circus which regularly performs in Silsden is returning to the district.

Circus Starr has raised thousands of pounds for local charities with performances across the North of England.

This year’s spring tour saw the circus acts perform to 27,000 people, including many disabled children who were given free tickets.

The Silsden performance, attended by around 1,000 children, parents and carers, raise money for Manorlands.

The show had been sold out for weeks thanks to donations from local businesses, which paid for tickets that were positive impact we had as we spread our circus magic across the UK.

The Skipton and Craven branch of Action For Disabled, said: “Circus Starr enhances children’s lives by giving them enjoyment in seeing something most able-bodied children did the granted.”
