He said: “Keighley Amateurs have a long tradition of presenting the finest family pantomimes in the area.”

“Our pantomimes have delighted audiences for over 45 years often playing to packed houses.”

Auditions will be held at the society’s rehearsal studio at the Airevalley Business Centre in Lawkholme Lane, Keighley The Kiddies Chorus auditions will start at 12.30pm. Children must be at least seven years old at the date of the audition and must be able to sing and dance.

Auditions will be at 2pm for more experienced dancers and 3pm for the adult ensemble.

This year's pantomime, Cinderella, will be performed at Victoria Hall between January 24 and 31, with some weekend matinees.

Rehearsals will start in late November or early December. The Amateurs recently held auditions to pick performers to play the main roles in the show.
