KEIGHLEY film buffs are hoping for lipstick and suspenders during their next event.

Keighley Film Club is hosting a screening of cult movie the Rocky Horror Picture Show on October 15.

The club is urging people to go along to the Picture House in fancy dress to reflect the movie’s outrageous characters.

Club spokesman Alan Watkinson said the Rocky Horror Picture Show was a rock opera the likes of which people might not have seen before.

He said: “The story takes you on a strange journey full of misadventure as Brad and Janet get lost in the rain and stumble across an annual convention in Dr Frank n Furter's castle.

”This certificate 15 cult film has maintained a strong following ever since release, inspiring singing and dancing in the aisles and parties galore.”

Keighley shop Sequins Fancy Dress is awarding prizes for the best-dressed male and female.

Doors open at the Picture House at 7.30pm.
