EASE YOUR way into the Halloween weekend by spending a night screaming with laughter.

That’s the invitation from Cricketers Arms promoter Chris Brooker as he announces the latest line-up for the pub’s monthly comedy night.

The October 29 gig features Martin Mor, Stephen Bugeja, Colin Manford and Chris McIlroy, all compered by himself.

Chris said: “Keighley's longest running and finest comedy night returns with a truly loaded night of hilarity.

“A perfect lead in for Halloween weekend in fact, featuring a line-up of acts that's terrifyingly good.”

Chris said people shouldn’t be fooled by the fact that the headline act Martin Mor locked like a man who lived in a cabin in the woods.

Chris said: “This former circus performer is a powerhouse of wit and charm, considered by his peers and audiences alike as a true master of his craft.

“He is a force of nature, who will sweep everyone and everything up in a tornado of mirth.”

Top comedian Frankie Boyle chose Martin to support him on tour.

Chris said the support acts for the Cricketers Arms evening were “valiantly” led by rising star Stephen Bugeja.

Chris said: “Crowned as the BBC's New Comedian Of The Year in 2013, Stephen is going to kick the night off in equally grand fashion.

“In the middle section Stephen and Martin will be joined by the towering Chris McIlroy as well as Colin Manford.”

Colin is described as “brother to another Manford you might know” – the legendary Jason – but he is carving his own furrow in the comedy paddock.

Chris has shared the bill with internationally acclaimed acts, won three New Act awards, and written and performed his own self has now show at Preston Tringe Festival.

“Strictly limited” tickets for the comedy night cost £5 in advance from the Cricketers Arms in Coney Lane, by visiting tinyurl.com/cricksmartinmor, or by visiting Nana Nellies at Keighley railway station.
