CILLA And Friends is the title of a tribute show, coming to the Octagon on November 14.
The Keighley club will showcase a night of 1960s nostalgia with tributes to girl singers like Cilla Black, Dusty Springfield, Lulu and Petula Clark.
Male acts of the 1950s and 1960s, like Billy Fury, Bobby Vee and Buddy Holly, will also be represented during the show.
The event promises performances of hit songs like You’re My World, I Only Wanna Be With You, Heartbeat, Anyone Who Had A Heart, Shout, Halfway To Paradise and Downtown.
Tickets cost £7.50 including supper. Call 01274 562252 for further information.
The Octagon, Bradford Road at Sandbeds, will also host a performance by Canadian blues legend Harry Manx, hailed as the “master of strings”, this Sunday at 7.30pm.
Harry is popular as much for his easy chat as his music, which he plays on instruments including a unique Indian 20-string Mohan Veena guitar. He has returned to Yorkshire, following his sell-out spring tour.
Support during the concert will come from guitarist, singer-songwriter and Delta/Chicago blues artist Phil Busby from Manchester.
