A club spokesman said the film was about the personal stories and raw first-hand experiences of those who lived through the strike.

and is supported by archive footage.

He said: “It takes the audience on an emotionally powerful journey of the dramatic events of that year. These events resulted in life changing experiences for those involved.

“These are frank, emotional and inspiring accounts of ordinary people caught up in a series of extraordinary events.

“Still the Enemy Within is a tale of people standing up for what they believe in and why they could stand tall in the face adversity.”

The film will be screened at the Keighley Picture House at 6pm. Doors open at 5.30pm.
