TOP TROUBADOUR Steve Tilston is among performers booked for Lothersdale Live next year.

Former Keighley man Steve, a renowned singer-songwriter, will play the folk night on March 21.

Next year Steve will be celebrating 40 years in the music business, writing and performing acoustic classics like The Slipjigs And Reels, The Naked Highwayman and Here’s To Tom Paine.

Steve, described as “absolutely accomplished” and “a singer-songwriter of rare talent” by critics, was recently the subject of his five-CD retrospective entitled Reaching Back.

In recent months he has released a new album The Reckoning, and published a novel.

Bernard Wrigley is performing the latest Lothersdale Live event, at Lothersdale Village Hall on Saturday (2015) from 8.30pm.

Bernard started in folk clubs in the mid-1960s before going into TV films, but has always continued with live performances.
