AMERICAN folk singer Sarah McQuaid will play Thirsk this month as part of a four-week UK tour to promote her latest single.
The Silver Lining is the first single from Sarah’s fourth solo album Walking Into White.
To record the new album, Sarah travelled from her adopted home in Cornwall, England, to the small town of Cornwall in the USA.
The Silver Lining is described as the closest thing to a pop song that Sarah has ever written, carrying a message of hope and optimism.
Sarah can be seen performing on November 20 at the Golden Fleece Hotel, Market Place, Thirsk. Visit facebook.com/looselyfolk or call 01845 523767 for more details.
