CRINGE anthems can be witnessed on Saturday at Keighley’s Octagon club.

That’s the promise of club owner John Pennington as he heralds the arrival of musicians from two well-known Northern groups.

Original members of Black Lace and Paper Lace will perform their hits at the venue on Bradford Road in Sandbeds.

Meanwhile Paper Lace won Opportunity Knocks, the 1970s version of the X-Factor, five weeks running.

They staying at the top of the charts for three weeks with their single Billy Don’t Be A Hero, following it with massive US hit The Night Chicago Died.
