A MURDER Is Announced – and audiences can this week can find out what happens next.

Bingley Little Theatre is staging the classic Agatha Christie mystery A Murder Is Announced at the town’s Arts Centre.

The play begins with an announcement in the local paper stating the time and place when a murder will happen.

The location is Miss Blakelock’s Victorian house.

The victim is not one of the house’s several occupants, but an unknown and unexpected visitor.

What follows is described as a classic Christie puzzle with mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death and a determined police inspector grimly following the twists and turns.

Miss Marple is on hand to provide the final solution, at some risk to herself, in a dramatic conclusion.

Bingley Little Theatre will stage another murder mystery from January 19 to 24, but the accent will be on laughs rather than thrills during Inspector Drake’s Last Case.

A Murder Is Announced is being staged nightly at 7.30pm. Visit ticket source.co.uk/bingleyartscentre or call 01274 567983 to book tickets.
