BRADFORD’S Cartwright Hall Art Gallery has opened a new exhibition entitled Eye Of The Beholder.
The items on display at been taken from Bradford Council’s international collection and have been acquired over the past 25 years.
Bradford people have worked closely with museum curators to develop the collection, which includes objects from different cultures and themes.
It will be the first time that many of the objects have been displayed.
The work of British and South Asian-based artists and makers include Sutapa Biswas, Gillies Jones Glass, Balraj Khanna, Mohammed Ali, Soraya Syed, Loretta Braganza and Jamini Roy
There are textiles from India and Pakistan, calligraphy from the Muslim world, South Asian textiles and gold, silver, ceramics and glass.
The Eye Of The Beholder runs until March 15.
