THE BLACK Bull in Haworth might be a new venue for local Blues and Roots nights but there are familiar faces to watch.

Gerry Cooper and Phil Snell are returning following successful appearances at previous Blues and Roots venues in Haworth and Keighley.

Organiser Ben Blue Waters is delighted to welcome back the two seasoned blues and ragtime masters thanks to the reaction to their previous gigs.

Ben said: “They have been well-known on the pub, club and festival circuit for many years, and their natural empathy and good humour have been winning over audiences wherever they perform.

“They will be playing tracks from their recently-recorded second album Trucking On To Happy.”

Audiences at Sunday’s gig at the Main Street pub, from 7.30pm to 10.30pm, will also hear the ethereal songs of Kathryn Luxford and the country blues of Jake Sleepy Segrave.
