SOPRANO Alexandra Lowe returns to Rudding Park Hotel in Wharfedale on Sunday to perform a Christmas concert in the Chapel in support of Music In Hospitals.

Alexandra is currently studying for her Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal Northern College of Music where she successfully achieved a scholarship.

She has won numerous prizes throughout her studying, including the Alexander Young Prize in November.

She played leading roles in Pirates Of Penzance, Trial By Jury, The Gondoliers and The Merry Widow, all as part of the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festivals at Buxton Opera House and Harrogate Royal Hall.

This month she is playing the role of Sylvaine in the Royal Northern College of Music’s production of The Merry Widow, and in March next year she plays the role of Helena in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Alexander will be joined at the Rudding Park concert by award-winning violinist Joy Becker, baritone Tom Isherwood, mezzo soprano Chloe Latchmore, and tenor Christian Lunn.
