CIRCUS Starr, who perform every year in Silsden, will take their winter tour to Colne.

The circus’s Raise The Roof variety show will be presented at the Municipal Theatre on January at 4.45pm and 7pm.

Promised are mesmerising displays of illusion, magic, juggling, spinning and balancing.

Peanuts the Clown will provide a comical mix of tricks, jokes and pranks, while Robert the ringmaster tries to keep his cheeky counterpart in check.

Circus Starr raises thousands of pounds for local charities each year with performances across the North of England.

Last year’s spring tour saw the circus acts perform to 27,000 people, including many disabled children who were given free tickets.

The Silsden performance was attended by around 1,000 children, parents and carers, and raised money for Manorlands. Local businesses paid for many the tickets.
