MOOR FOLK returns to the Exchange Arts Centre with Dan Clews headlining the first night of 2015.

The Keighley venue’s regular folk and acoustic night will be on February 27 beginning at 7.30pm.

Dan is described as a hugely talented singer-songwriter who is plying his trade at the very top of his game.

He recently completed his latest album, Tourist In My Own Backyard, and hopes his current set of gigs will continue his upward trajectory.

An Exchange spokesman said: “The new material packs a punch, the melodies and lyrics benefiting from his assured and beguiling delivery.

“There’s an easy confidence here, based upon a solid presence on the live music scene and knowledge of what works and of how to play to his strengths.

“Hailing from one of the last remaining traditional strawberry farms in Kent, the ‘Garden of England’, space and storytelling provide the inspiration and foundation for his songwriting landscape.

“As well as gigging around the country, Dan has become known for his performances at his low-key ‘festivals’ held on the farm.”
