THREE members of the BBC’s acclaimed Transatlantic Sessions will perform at Victoria Hall, Saltaire, as part of a national tour.
The gig on Saturday (February 21) is described as a rare chance to see three of the world’s finest musicians share a stage together.
Michael McGoldrick is a master of flutes, whistles and Uillean pipes, and a member of Flook, Lunasa and of Capercaillie.
John McCusker’s unique fiddle playing has earned him a worldwide reputation as a master musician, while John Doyle’s gifts as guitarist, songwriter and vocalist have played an essential role in the ongoing renaissance of Irish traditional music.
