THE SEARCH is on to find 100 Yorkshire ballet dancers to join the English Youth Ballet in their ghostly, full-length production of Giselle at St George’s Hall in Bradford, from June 5 to 6.
English Youth Ballet will be holding auditions at St George’s Hall tomorrow and is keen to offer opportunities to male and female dancers aged eight to 18 with all levels of experience.
The successful youngsters will be offered the chance to rehearse with and dance alongside international professional principal dancers.
Each audition will take the form of a regular ballet class, which can be watched by parents. It is advisable to register for an audition in advance but it is possible to register on the day, by arriving 30 minutes early. The audition fee is £15.
