ROGER Davies and Steve Tilston are among singers performing at this year’s Holmfirth Festival Of Folk.
Steve, a long-time Keighley resident and a world-renowned songwriter, plays the May 8-10 festival fresh from his appearance at regular acoustic night Lothersdale Live.
Roger, a singer-songwriter from Brighouse, is a regular performer across West Yorkshire including Keighley.
He released a new CD last year, and specialises in entertaining with songs reflecting the world around him.
The Festival Of Folk promises a great weekend of music, dance and entertainment for all the family.
Headliners booked so far include Eddi Reader – singer of 1980s number one Perfect as part of Fairground Attraction.
There will also be rising folk stars The Young ‘Uns, North-East singer Jez Lowe, the Sam Kelly Trio, Elbow Jane and Megson.
There will also be lots of dance teams, schools concerts, street entertainment and ceilidhs.
Also on the programme will be the Britannia Coconut Dancers, Polish dance group Mlody Mazur, Sheffield City Giants, along with Ceildihography, along with family shows from The Hey Diddles.
