KEIGHLEY rock band The Road will play the Exchange Arts Centre tomorrow.

The Road is a four-piece band made up of experienced local musicians who started playing together in 2013.

They play their own material, which is mostly bluesy rock with a 1960s or 1970s feel.

The members are lead singer and rhythm guitarist Pete Ward, lead guitarist and backing singer Kev Collens, bassist and backing vocalist John Keeler, and drummer Andy Peacock.

The Exchange, in Russell Street, Keighley, will host a free gig on April 3 featuring alternative rock from Leeds in the shape of Weak Knees and Felka.

Music fans can expect a sound reminiscent of nationally-known bands Mallory Knox and Lower Than Atlantis getting together and wrecking a house party.

The following night sees a Madchester Revisited gig with tribute bands Definitely Mightbe and Adored providing a night of Oasis versus The Stone Roses.

Eleventh Hour and PanterA UK perform a tribute to two of the mightiest metal bands, on April 5.

There are more tribute acts in the shape of Who’s Next, copying The Who on April 11; Ozzbest reviving Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath on April 18; The Stones on May 2; Queen Alright on May 9; and the Real Nirvana and The Black Isle on May 30.

Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumental musician and entertaining solo performer Den Miller will launch his new album on April 25.

Merry Hell and Eddy O’Dwyer will play folk-rock with a punk attitude and indie ethos on May 1.
