ONE OF Keighley’s top cops is to get his own calendar!
Inspector Blake Hartley patrols the mean streets of Keighworth - a fictionalised version of creator John Waddington-Feather’s birth town.
Following the American success of his crime novel series John is planning a calendar featuring views of Keighley.
He hopes to use locations from the books, which have included the old police station on North Street, the town hall square and Victoria Hall.
John, who has lived for many years in Shropshire, is delighted with reviews of the e-book re-releases of his novels.
He said: “All of the series, based in Keighley, have really taken off in the States.
“Since my daughter, who acts as a kind of literary agent, put them on Kindle last year, sales are now reaching 70,000.”
John plans to print about 100 calendars to sent to fans he corresponds with in both the UK and USA.
