UNDERHAND dealings in political circles play a key part of the plot in this week’s production from Addingham Drama Group.
The group is presenting the Eric Chappell comedy, Up and Coming, at Addingham Memorial Hall.
The play focuses on political hopeful Philip Conway, who is attending a party conference where he intends to make his thrust for power.
On the night in question his position is compromised by various visitors including Vicky whose love promises to be a permanent embarrassment.
There will be five performances - tonight, tomorrow, next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, starting at 7.30pm. Admission is £7. Call Steve Crossley-Smith on 01943 830640 to book tickets.
