JEREMY HARDY is among comedians booked to perform at Leeds City Varieties during this year.

Jeremy has just begun his fourth decade as a stand-up comedian, and fully expects to spend his next 31 years on the stage too.

Last year the tenth series of Jeremy Hardy Speaks To The Nation was broadcast on Radio 4, and he is also well known for his appearances on The News Quiz and I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue.

As well as radio appearances, Jeremy is on the road all year round and has never stopped doing live shows since 1984.

Award-winning Welsh comedian Rod Woodward, who brought the house down at the 2014 Royal Variety Performance, will present his latest show The Journey Starts Here on June 20.

Rod was tipped for stardom by such luminaries as Peter Kay and the late Bob Monkhouse after winning the Best Newcomer To Variety Award.

He supported Paddy McGuinness and Russell Brand on tour, and won the BBC 1 Wales comedy competition Funny Business.

Comedian and TV presenter Patrick Kielty returns to his stand-up roots with a new show which comes to the City Varieties on October 8.

Join the former psychology graduate and star of Live At The Apollo, Dave’s One Night Stand and host of The BBC New Comedy Awards as he attempts to write a modern rulebook for love, life and happiness.

Ed Byrne is back on the road in the autumn, performing his show at the Varieties on October 30.

He has appeared in Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, Live At The Apollo, Comic Relief Bake Off and Dara And Ed’s Great Big Adventure.
