LANCASHIRE’s Ribble Valley is again the setting for the popular Beat-Herder Festival.
The rural festival, winner of this year’s Extra Festival Activity Award, is celebrating its 10th anniversary after expanding from 'free party' origins to a three-day 12,000-capacity bonanza.
Acts announced for this year include Sugarhill Gang And The Furious Five, featuring Melle Mel and Scorpio.
There will also be Nightmares On Wax, MistaJam, 8:58, Dub Pistols, Mr Scruff & MC Kwasi, PBR Streetgang and K-Klass.
The line-up will also include Basement Jaxx, Parov Stelar Band, Martha Reeves And The Vandellas, Catz 'n Dogz, Plump DJs, Vanilla Ace and Dreadzone.
