Family life and twisted imagery will generate laughs in the latest comedy night at the Cafe Choux Choux.

The Keighley venue is hosting a warm-up show for Jim Smallman as he debuts his latest show My Girls tonight. (June 25)

Jim headlines Choux Choux’s monthly comedy night, beginning at 8.30pm, by relating his odd little life.

There is Jim’s precocious, entertaining 11-year-old daughter with whom he shares ridiculous adventures, and his new wife, who happens to be a retired adult performer.

Organiser and compere Chris Brooker said: “It’s guaranteed to be open, honest and touching in places but above all incredibly funny.”

Support will come from Bethany Black, who was seen recently on E4's Banana and Cucumber and is tipped for cult megastardom.

Chris said: “Bethany is a darkly hilarious comedian with a unique line in somewhat twisted imagery that will reduce an audience to fits of belly laughter."
