FROM CHICAGO to Leeds come the raw, snarling and unabashedly in-your-face Meat Way.
The band revels in garage punk with just the right split between melody and raw power, scrappy, squalid and infinitely addictive.
So say the critics, who claim Meat Wave take the fast and furious lo-fi sounds of bands like The Marked Men and turn up the intensity just enough to give the classic sound a whole new meaning.
The trio are touring the UK to promote their long-awaited Delusion Moon album, described as varied, versatile and endlessly venomous.
See them at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on November 29.
