GROOVY Happening have a full acoustic line-up in store for their latest gig on Saturday, February 6.
The show at the Parkside Social Club, Butt Lane, Haworth, will as usual raise money for the Manorlands hospice.
The Jon Palmer Acoustic Band is a six-piece folk, roots and rock ‘n’ roll combo based in and around Otley.
The line-up includes guitars, mandolin, whistle, double bass, violin, and drums. Everyone sings!
The Skip Pickers will perform both traditional and modern music for fans of Eddi Reader, Billie Holiday, Irish jigs and American old-time.
The pair combine banjo, fiddle, and singing, and have performed together in Lancashire and across the Fylde coast for more than 20 years.
Farrago is an occasional acoustic collaboration between two very experienced musicians who promise “music with a personality”.
They present Americana and folk, ranging from folk standards to foot-tapping Celtic jigs.
Izak Wilkinson returns to the Groovy Happening to perform acoustic interpretations of songs from all genres to a percussive style.
Doors open at 7.30pm, admission is £3, and there is a raffle and disco.
