AWARD-winning Bingley women’s choir Opus 44 will perform at Bingley Little Theatre Studio on May 14.
The choir’s 7.30pm performance will raise money for Bradford and Airedale Cancer Support Charities.
Opus 44 rehearse in Bingley, drawing membership from Craven, Keighley and Bingley but also attracting singers from Halifax, Otley, Wakefield and Wycoller.
The concert is entitled Madrigals To Musicals, reflecting musical director Alison Pryce-Jones’s ability to find a varied and enjoyable repertoire of songs for upper voices.
Choir member Deborah Oldfield from Embsay said: "We enjoy singing in a wide variety of styles.
“Although it is fantastic to win competitions, you know that you have sung well when you hear audience laughter or the moment of appreciation before applause."
The concert will also feature talented young musicians from Kirklees and Calderdale. Tickets are available by calling 01274 567983.
