Dobson Lock at Apperley Bridge
WALKERS can follow footpaths in the Aire Valley from Bingley to Apperley Bridge during the latest Bradford Council guided walk.
Walkers should meet Colin Pitts on June 29 at the new Apperley Bridge station for the 10.21am train to Bingley, or at Bingley station at 10.45am. The seven-mile linear walk finishes at Apperley Bridge.
Six Days Only is the title of a three-mile circular walk in the Shipley area on July 3. Meet Gillian Dale and Mary Weir at 2pm at Northcliffe park gates opposite the Branch public house, Shipley, for a walk through the park and woodland.
