THE MUSIC OF Radiohead will be performed by the Easy Star All-Stars under the title Radiodread at the Brudenell Social Club on July 17.
The New York collective were hailed by Thom Yorke and his fellow musicians in 2006 when they dared to transform Radiohead’s seminal OK Computer end-to-end with a bold reggae and dub overhaul.
Ten years on the band return to the UK to perform the acclaimed album live.
A 10 year anniversary edition of the Radiodread album will be released on August 12, including their first new material in nearly four years, a cover of the Radiohead hit High And Dry.
Featuring guest vocals from Grammy-winner Morgan Heritage, the new track sees the collective rekindling their passion for their Oxford heroes with complex arrangements and dynamic, dub-heavy moments.
