BEATLES tribute show Let It Be will be at the Grand Theatre in Leeds from July 11 to 16.

The hit stage presentation has been seen by more than two million people across the world and is currently in London’s West End.

The touring version, described as ‘the gig the Beatles never performed in Liverpool’, features more than 40 well-known songs by the Fab Four.

Audiences are invited to relive The Beatles’ meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, and on through the heights of Beatlemania and their later studio masterpieces.

There are live performances of early tracks including Twist and Shout, She Loves You and Drive My Car, as well as mega-hits Yesterday, Hey Jude, Come Together and the title track.

A spokesman said: “Travel back to the magical Sixties when all you needed was love, and a little help from your friends!”

The Grand Theatre will host the return of Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show, the cult rock ‘n’ roll musical with songs like Sweet Transvestite, Dammit Janet and Time Warp, from October 31 to November 5.

Million Dollar Quartet will celebrate a real-life studio jam session from 1956, as it brings together Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.

The show, running from November 7 to 12, features hits like Blue Suede Shoes, Fever, That’s All Right, Great Balls Of Fire, Walk The Line, Hound Dog and Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On .
