The Damned who are due to play the Holmfirth Picturedrome
THE DAMNED celebrate their 40th anniversary with a tour landing at Holmfirth Picturedrome on August 4.
The punk legends will play an extended set of their biggest songs including hits I Just Can’t Be Happy Today, Smash It Up, New Rose, Love Song, Neat Neat Neat and Eloise.
Instrumental in kick-starting the original punk rock scene, The Damned have cruised between progressive, psychedelic, goth and pop rock.
A spokesman said: “A Damned gig is always a very special event, great songs skilfully tied up in a lively and well-crafted colourful mix of alternative theatre, showmanship, humour and genuine character.”
