PARENTS of primary school-age children in the Bradford district have all been sent a School's Out summer guide.

The guide contains details of activities and events around the district during the summer holidays.

Children can learn to sail, breakdance or just have fun in the park with giant inflatables. They can improve their football skills, swim, learn to dive, play tennis and lots more.

Many of the activities are free to attend and discounts are available for Passport to Leisure card holders.

Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council's Executive Member for Environment, Sport and Culture, said: "There are lots of activities and events for our young people this summer and the School's Out guide covers everything.

"There is something for everyone and I'm sure our young people will enjoy what is on offer."

Copies of the guide are also available in libraries, sports centres, swimming pools and community centres across Bradford district.

Visit the council's website at bradford.gov.uk/summer for a full rundown of all the activities.
