Dinosaur Jr and Boxed In to headline Beacons Metro festival in Leeds
ROVING music festival Beacons Metro has announced a new set of acts playing Leeds this autumn.
The bands join the already-announced Local Natives, Roots Manuva, Hookworms and Anna Meredith.
American alt rock and grunge pioneers Dinosaur Jr will play the Beacons Metro opening party at Leeds University Stylus on October 26.
The same day will see Boxed In, the project of songwriter and producer Oli Bayston, perform at the city’s Headrow House.
UK hip-hop Queen Lady Leshurr is planning a gig at the Belgrave Music Hall, while Krrum play on November 3 and Glaspy on November 6, both at Headrow House.
