REGULARS from Keighley’s now-defunct Aire Do will perform at this year’s Settle Folk Gathering.

Comedy band The Bar Steward Sons of Val Doonican were a popular draw at the open-air music festival in Keighley’s Cliffe Castle Park.

They can be seen in Victoria Hall, the setting for Settle Folk Gathering’s four days of concerts, on September 4.

Also playing the final day will be Demon Barbers XL, the folk music and dance show led by Haworth man Damien Barber.

The Demon Barbers are renowned for combining traditional English dance styles such as Morris with street styles like hip-hop.

Now in its third year, Settle Folk Gathering will feature a weekend of concerts, workshops and sessions in and around the Yorkshire Dales town, from September 1 to 4.

The music at Victoria Hall starts with Bill Lloyd and Friends and then continues with Mike Harding and the William Small Small Orchestra on September 2.

Roisin Ban, Fosbrooks and Duncan McFarlane will play on September 3, followed by The Young Un’s with support from Michelle Holding.

The final day will feature Bryan’s Band, Dave Burland and The Awkward Squad, Yan Tan Tether, and Bella Gaffney.

All events are free, and there are no advanced tickets. Visit info@settle victoriahall.org.uk.
