GERVASE Phinn will host a Yuletide evening at the Square Chapel Centre for the Arts in Halifax, on December 22.
The audience is invited to spend a heartwarming evening with one of Britain’s best loved comic writers and raconteurs.
Gervase will share hilarious and sometimes poignant stories, anecdotes, poems and readings on the theme of Christmas.
Gervase has been touring theatres across the country for 10 years, along with publishing books and appearing on radio and television.
The Orchestra of Square Chapel will present its annual New Year’s Gala Concert on January 8 at 3pm.
There is a new venue for this annual feast of marches, waltzes and polkas in the Viennese tradition, by the likes of composers such as Strauss.
Due to the refurbishment of the Square Chapel, which is due to begin after Christmas, the concert will be at the church of St John the Divine in Rastrick.
