JAZZ fans are being invited to hear highly intelligible music, characterised by individuality, spirit and sense of freedom.
That’s a description applied to A Magic Life, the latest album from the Alison Rayner Quintet.
The band can be seen at Jazz at Heart in Leeds on March 11.
The band’s music is said to burst with melodic and harmonic references from jazz, classical and folk music.
Audiences can expect poignant folk-inspired melodies, rootsy grooves, Hendrix stoked guitar and improvisational invention.
